We sometimes tell ourselves that we should be able to ‘cope’ on our own; that we should have figured this all out by now, and our judgment keeps us stuck. Sometimes we just need a safe space to reconnect, share and realise we are not alone. We are all humans, experiencing struggle, who want love, connection, a sense of belonging, community purpose, and wee bit of fulfilment.

Tend To The Garden You Can Touch

Over the last 7 years my work life and personal experiences: from youth work and community work to supporting addiction recovery and mental health to studying MSc of physical activity and mental health & research exploring the impact of hiking on mental health and well-being, to long-distance running and learning to become a yoga teacher, to my passion for the environment, aromatherapy, nutrition, physiology, hiking, wilderness therapy, holistic health, and wellness… to living in Orkney and my own mental health struggles, to starting writing and the podcast, have all shaped my understanding and led me to embark on a new journey. I feel a deeeeep passion to connect, share what I have learned, build community, and learn more.​
